A welcoming pub with a traditional atmosphere
Standard pub. Good for Locals.
Nice little country pub under new management. If this had food it wld be better but in process of fitting new kitchen so time will tell. New manager Lee is a friendly chap very accommodating and helpful, only down side is he is an arsenal fan. Definitely popping in when back in area
Great choice of beers - freehouse. Had the misfortune to be the victim of BR signalling problems and got diverted to Paddock Wood. Rescued the situation with a couple of pints of Doombar. But it was a tough choice with Young's and Courage on offer. The TV had the World Cup. Barman was friendly as well.
Good beer here. Beers are well kept. Real ales available. Not really a place to eat, still a pleasant experience. Good local pub.
