My daughter has recently been diagnosed as "on the autism spectrum" and we had to have a follow up appointment at the doctors. After being told the doctor was on time we then had to wait half an hour past our appointment time and saw three people go in before us. The waiting room was jam packed and as a result my daughter had a meltdown so we had to leave. When I tried to rebook the appointment, I was refused. Rude and unhelpful.
Poor service overall. Although my doctors treatments are good the surgery as a whole is a slow, I would assume understaffed mess. On hold for 5 minutes, to then get put through to appointment where I was waiting for 10 minutes. Poor service, and long waiting times for appointments. I'm going to look into changing surgery.
Worst doctors I've ever been too, staff are rude and the waiting times and appointment schedule are awful, only go there if it's a life and death situation
(3rd visit in all)Just thought that I add my own experience of my visit today. I was booked in within 4 days of calling but it could have been more or less the same day of calling if I thought it was urgent. When I arrived there was a Lady at the reception who took immediately care of me and confirmed my appointment. I was called in to the doctor on time of appointment. Remarkable. I felt that the doctor actually cared about my problems and made me aware of things I would have never thought of myself. The Doctor's diagnose and explanation was very professional I thought and was completely different of what I assumed(google is just not a doctor and that is where I had my wrong conclusions from) There are more check ups, tests and maybe treatment to come. Everything was put in motion immediately. I can not fault Woodlands on anything from my own experience today or in the past.. Actually I am very happy to have WHC as my GP.
