Had afternoon tea which is very nice. However we had to cut sandwiches up as it was tea for two but three of each sandwich. Also a meringue rather than one each. Free refills of the teapot almost made up for it.
Had all the items I needed. Looked clean and tidy. Didn't have time for the restaurant today but food smelt good. Noticed they had a seating area inside with 2 tables where you could sit and eat with your dog. Not may places have that. Impressed.

Always very quiet, good selection of plants. In the summer though its hotter than the sun inside! At this time of year needs more Christmas things as the sign says Christmas Shop Open, however the displays are very minimal.
Not a great selection of plants today. The vast majority of the outdoor plants were only annuals which isn't helpful when one is trying to build a long term sustainable garden. I would like to have a garden that encourages insects and other wild life into it for the benefit of the environment in general. Not something I was able to achieve here today
